Plasmid+® media

PLASMID + ® is an enriched medium specially developed for plasmid DNA production. PLASMID + ® supports higher cell densities and plasmid yields than LB media. Maximum cultivation of the culture is achieved using Ultra Yield ™ bottles. E. coli DH5a is the recommended host strain for use with PLASMID + ® liquid medium. E. coli XL1-Blue also produces high quality plasmid DNA and can improve plasmid DNA yield with plasmids smaller than 3kb.
