Bottles - PP

PP (Polypropylene)

PP is often used as a material for cans and bottles. It is a semi-crystalline non-transparent thermoplastic that is characterized by good resistance to many chemicals.

PP is best used between +5°C and +85°. Not resistant to oxidizing media and hydrocarbons. Hydrolysis resistant. Complies with RoHS Directive.

  • High impact strength
  • Good fatigue strength
  • The material has a tendency to cold flow
  • At minus temperatures, PP becomes brittle
  • PP is known for its "good hinge function"
